DataHub 2.0 is released
No Magic is pleased to announce the release of our Cameo DataHub 2.0
release. Cameo DataHub is a tool that allows the user to import,
export, synchronize, and make references between Cameo Requirements+
2.0, MagicDraw 15.5, SysML Plugin 15.5, DoDAF Plugin 15.5,Telelogic
DOORS 8.0, Rational RequisitePro 7.0, and CSV files (other tools are to

models in MagicDraw. Developers can then link design to the specific
requirements, preventing ambiguity and improving success.
This easy to use tool allows customers:
- Unify and relate requirements to the system architecture and design.
- Handle the relationship (dependency) and information when change happens.
- Transform data from requirements to model or model to requirements.
- Associate and synchronize data (both automatic and manual).
- Monitor data when associated data changes.

MagicDraw RConverter 1.4 is
released
What's New in MagicDraw RConverter 1.4
- Supports Category filtering:
The user does not have to convert the entire project anymore. Category
filtering allows you to select only what you want to convert.
- Supports Element Type
Suffix for Model Property: If the same Model Property
Name is applied to many Element Types, the conversion will append the
Element Type Name after the Model Property Name in order to separate
each Model Property with the same name for each Element Type.
- Conversion Monitoring:
For each conversion, Rconverter will write a log entry in a resource
file. The information will consist of every element that was converted.
Or if the conversion was interrupted, then the log file will tell you
the last conversion point and identify the cause of the interruption.
- Reported bugs fixed.

Plano, TX, December 8, 2006. No Magic, Inc.®,
a leading vendor of architecture modeling software, today announced the
release of MagicDraw® UML 12.0. An
enhancement of No Magic's award-winning UML-based architecture modeling

to improve communications between the system engineering teams and help
manage system complexity. We chose to offer robust support for SysML to
compliment best of breed UML 2 support already in MagicDraw," said Gary

MagicDraw
UML 11.5 EAP Beta is released!
No Magic is pleased to announce MagicDraw
UML 11.5 EAP Beta version. Version 11.5 EAP Beta includes all features
that will be in the 11.5 GA final release available July 10, 2006. We
encourage you to try new functionality and give us feedback as early as
possible. Your opinion is a critical link to providing the best
possible solutions for the final 11.5 version, and gives you the
ability to influence the functionality of your UML tool of choice.
Please note that the version you are accessing is in early stage
development, thus its stability and robustness cannot be guaranteed. We
recommend that you do not use any EAP Beta releases for production of
the software projects.
What's new in MagicDraw 11.5 EAP Beta:
- Model Decomposition improvements. Model
Decomposition is powerful tool to split project and work with part of
it independently. New improvements bring these new additional
capabilities especially suitable when working with the large projects:
- Read-Write modules allow seamless module
editing of the fragmented model;
- Ability to have flexible control over the
dependencies between model parts. MagicDraw allows you to continue
without resolving these dependencies;
- Lazy loading allows to specify what
modules should not be loaded into memory by default when a project is
started. Module elements are only loaded as they are specifically
requested. It saves memory, shortens the project startup time and
improves the performance when working with very large projects and if
most of the module elements are never actually used.
- Export of MagicDraw model to EMF based UML
2.0 compatible XMI. It allows interchange of UML 2.0 models with the
most popular MDA tools such as AndroMDA, OpenArchitectureWare, and
others for further manipulations and transformations. To see an early
view of the EMF export from MagicDraw 11.5 EAP Beta with the latest
release candidate from AndroMDA, you must use AndroMDA 3.2 which can be
downloaded here.
- Perspectives - ability to select
predefined or customized MagicDraw configuration and features according
to your specific role in your software development process.
- General usability and diagramming
improvements that can accelerate your modeling efforts.

No Magic
Booth Was Overcrowded in JavaOne 2006
No Magic took JavaOne by storm, with a
booth adjacent to IBM, demonstrating our award winning UML/BPM based
architecture tool MagicDraw, and talking about our training/consulting
services around the software development lifecycle (SDLC). The well
known MagicDraw capabilities attracted new visitors interested in
architecture and business process modeling. Many came in the No Magic
booth saying that they heard about MagicDraw from their friends or
colleagues. Our existing customers came by to see and compliment us on
all the new MagicDraw features. The MagicDraw booth was filled non-stop
from opening hours until the end of the conference day, a compliment we
appreciate greatly.
The famous No Magic sweepstakes did take place on Thursday. We trust Al
Brown from FileNet Corporation was pleased with the result, as he won
the maxed-out laptop, our main prize; and there were also 11 happy
winners of MagicDraw licenses:
- Jody Box from Acxiom Corp.;
- Scott Jones from Acxiom Corp.;
- Quan Luu from AOL;
- Amit Halder from CCC Information
Services;
- Max Kuznetsov from Ciber, Inc.;
- Darmesh Sethi from Citigroup;

No
Magic's made headlines in Outsourcing Success in the Bangkok Post
"No Magic is one of the big three players in

Rational (recently acquired by IBM) and Borland. However, with
virtually all sales in the US, few people realise that the Magicdraw

| MagicDraw UML 10.0 is released!
Golden, CO, October
10, 2005. No Magic, Inc.®, a leading
vendor of architecture modeling software, today announced the release
of MagicDraw® UML 10.0, a significant
upgrade of No Magic’s award-winning UML-based architecture
tool. MagicDraw 10.0 delivers support for the latest UML 2.0 and BPMN
standards with improved diagramming, a completely redesigned GUI, and
other expanded capabilities that combine to accelerate architecture
modeling. MagicDraw UML 10.0 is the first – and to date, the
only -- tool on the market to support the latest public UML 2.0
Superstructure specification from the Object Management Group (OMG).
MagicDraw already led the industry with full support of the UML 2.0
notation standard, and now adds UML 2.0 metamodel support, including
the newest revisions introduced by OMG in October 2004. Though several
other tools support both the metamodel and notation, MagicDraw is the
only to fully comply with the latest specification.
MagicDraw’s support of the UML 2.0 metamodel covers all four
compliance levels and corresponds to Level 3 (L3), which represents a
complete UML implementation. Strong adherence to open standards makes
MagicDraw the tool of choice in the world of Model Driven Architecture
(MDA). To promote interchange with other software development tools,
MagicDraw models are stored in the latest XMI 2.1 standard from OMG.
