No Magic Training and Information Portal mission is to serve as the knowledge center for the selected areas in modern software and system development.

The focus in the No Magic Training and Information Portal is on the areas where No Magic, Inc. has built intensive expertise. As the vendor of the award-wining modeling tool, MagicDraw, and a new generation of Cameo product line for application lifecycle management, also as a contributing member of OMG consortium, we will explore a number of modeling domains like Software Modeling (UML), System Engineering (SysML), Business Process Modeling (BPMN), and DoDAF / MODAF (UPDM) with a particular focus on how to apply these languages for solving practical problems and how to use No Magic tools supporting these languages. We will also address the Model Driven Architecture (MDA) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) paradigms discussing how to leverage the models for generating executable systems and Model Reports discussing how to transform the models into navigable or printable documents. As the vendor of requirements management tool Cameo Req+, we will provide publications on Requirements Engineering. Finally we will discuss Programming in C++ as we have built a lot of experience in using it in projects and training professionals how to use it efficiently. Each of the selected areas is assigned a guide, who will coordinate publishing the content items from various contributors and assure the quality of the published items. The guide roles are assigned to the senior employees of No Magic, Inc. who have most expertise and are our thought leaders in these areas.

We start with a few publications and we are going to grow rapidly by putting more and more of them on daily basis. Our vision is to become the thought leader and the major knowledge center for the software and system development professionals.
